Integrating MCP with Componentry lets you control it via AI.

Installation

Enable MCP in your project environment. (Supports Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)

pnpm dlx shadcn@latest mcp init

Add the registry to your project

Add the following to your components.json file.

    "@componentry": "https://componentry.dev/r/{name}.json"
  }
}

Usage

You can now ask your IDE to use any Componentry component. Here are some examples:

  • "Add the magnetic dock component"
  • "Add the kinetic text reveal animation"
  • "Add the sticky scroll cards"
